My husband, family and I can't say enough good things about The Ballroom at Carey Lake! Jody and her team went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly the way we wanted. From shoveling and salting a walkway so my husband and I could take pictures in the snow, to being so attentive during the reception, the staff were cheerful and helpful all day. Jody is great to work with and was always available to talk through any questions or concerns I had. She is a pro at what she does! The venue itself is beautiful and the bridal suite is awesome for getting ready in the morning (the mimosas are a lovely touch!) Food and drinks were wonderful and the decorations were exactly how we wanted them. We're so glad we chose this venue for our wedding. Thank you Jody and the staff at Carey Lake!!

Our wedding was on 10/15/21 and we are so grateful we picked this spot for our wedding. They have their own parking, only have one wedding per day, it’s in a quiet and secluded area (in the country with a stunning view of Carey lake), you can have the wedding and reception in the same location, the food was absolutely delicious and the owner- Jody was so easy to work with. We had prime rib, chicken and salmon at the wedding, we had so many guests compliment the food. The venue is also spacious so plenty of room for dancing. The fountain out front is a great backdrop for pics.
I cannot say enough how much I recommend the Ballroom at Carey Lake. I loved the privacy of the venue, the environment was so romantic, light and airy, and the grounds were just gorgeous! my wedding guests still comment on how truly beautiful the venue is- its breathtaking! Getting married there felt like something out of a fairytale, and how awesome that this venue exists so close to home?!
Jody was absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the planning process- her suggestions, attention to detail and communication was truly top notch. When my husband and I first met with her, we knew walking away from our first meeting that we were in VERY good hands. You can tell right off the bat the she is a perfectionist and truly will pull out all the stops to make sure your wedding day is nothing shy of perfect. We feel like we gained a friend throughout this process, I cannot sing her praises enough. Jody made planning (what is usually a stressful part of weddings) so effortless and easy and we cannot thank her enough for that.
Carey Lake blew every expectation we had for our wedding out of the water- the atmosphere, the food, the service, and bar was absolutely incredible. My guests commented on just how good the food was all night and have continued to send me messages about it! We decided to do the firework show too which was such a fun touch and was an amazing way to end the night. I still am in awe at the magic Jody and Carey Lake created on our wedding day. we loved (and will continue to cherish) every moment we spent there.
My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased with just about everything at Carey Lake! Jody is an absolute gem to work with, going above and beyond to make sure the day went on without a hitch! The food, and drinks were absolutely amazing (our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was), and the staff were extremely accommodating and attentive to any/all of our needs, down to making sure we had food and drinks at all times. Our vendors (dj and photographers) even raved about Carey Lake. The ceremony space and reception space were absolutely gorgeous at baseline, and needed very little extra decorations to make it our own. The bridal suite, guest bathrooms, and the rest of the event space was meticulously clean, beautiful decorated and comfortable all at the same time. Even with a winter wedding (post snow storm) we were able to use the beautiful outside areas for pictures as they were cleared of snow and ice. We really couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding day!!! #FLAWLESS
