  • How much does it cost to rent the venue?

    Saturday Weddings (May 1st - October 31st): We require a minimum food and beverage expenditure of $20,000, which includes room, food, and drinks before tax and service fee.. Weekday & Off-Season Weddings: Our minimum food and beverage expenditure is $12,000 - $14,000, which includes room, food, and drinks before tax and service fee.


  • Do you host events other than weddings?

    Yes! The Ballroom at Carey Lake is also the perfect venue for a variety of other special events. Whether you’re planning a prom, fundraising gala, corporate event, or holiday party, our elegant and spacious venue can accommodate your needs. For minimum pricing requirements, please refer to our "Details and Pricing" guides located on this page.

  • What is your catering policy?

    We offer a variety of in-house catering options, with menus designed to suit all tastes and dietary restrictions. We are happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible. You may provide outside licensed catering, it will be $35/guest, however, the minimum fee of the day must be met. Room fees, tax, service fees still apply.

  • Do you offer bar service?

    Yes, we offer a full-service bar with a wide selection of beers, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. Customizable beverage packages are also available.

  • Can I bring my own alcohol?

    No, per NYS Liquor Authority, outside alcohol cannot be brought into a licensed establishment.

  • What time can I start my event?

    We offer flexible start times to fit your wedding day schedule. For our 6-hour ceremony and reception package, as well as our 5-hour reception option, the event must end by 11 PM. You also have the option to purchase an extra hour for $1200, but please note that the event still cannot go past 11 PM, and the additional hour must be arranged before your event date. We work closely with you to customize your timeline and ensure your day runs smoothly!

  • What vendors do you recommend?

    For your convenience, we have a group of preferred vendors who are familiar with our venue and have a reputation for remarkable service. We will happily provide those, as we know these vendors will provide exceptional quality and unsurpassed service on your big day! Additionally, we welcome your own selected vendors to our property.

  • Is there a space to get ready on site?

    Yes! We have a bridal suite that opens at 9:30 AM. Equipped with complimentary refreshments, mirrors, and comfy seating, this is a perfect space for you to unwind before your ceremony and reception & store your precious belongings. Feel free to bring snacks, but please no alcohol. 

  • What if the weather is not what I pictured?

     Don't worry one bit! We have a designated ballroom for your ceremony if the weather won't allow you to be outside.

  • Can I just rent out your ballroom?

    No

  • What lodging is nearby?

     We work with several hotels near by. We can offer suggestions upon booking.

  • How do we coordinate wedding decor drop off/ pick up?

    We encourage brides & grooms to bring decor during the week before the wedding. We have a space separate from the ballrooms to keep all your belongings safe! Pick up can be done the night of or during the following week.

  • Can I fish in your lake?

    Unfortunately, no. The lake is private property. We ask all guests to respect our rules to keep the integrity of the property.

  • Do you have decor I can use?

    Yes, lots! We will provide a link to the items upon booking.

  • Can my dog be invited for the ceremony?

     Absolutely! They are part of the family, too! Just make sure a responsible person can take them to a safe space afterwards.
